Dubai’s cycling scene is gaining serious momentum as attention has been turned to providing purpose-built cycle tracks, both for those who simply enjoy a leisurely ride and serious cyclers. The Dubai Bicycle Master Plan takes the two-wheeling pursuit seriously, calling for 850km of strategic bikeways in business districts and residential neighbourhoods.
The Nad Al Sheba Cycle Park gives serious riders the choice of an 8km, 6km or 4km loop, with the whole course lit at night, while the Dubai Autodrome hosts Revolution Nights every Wednesday from 6pm. If you’re interested in a leisurely pedal, Al Mamzar Park and Mushrif Park are ideal spots to spend an afternoon. There are also rent-a-bike stations in Downtown, Dubai Marina and Jumeirah.

Cycle Safe Dubai
Cars aren’t the only things speeding through the Autodrome Circuit at Dubai Motor City. With Cycle Safe Dubai, you can zoom through the epic racecourse by foot or by bicycle. While normally home to Dubai’s motorsports, Autodrome invites joggers, runners, walkers and cyclists onto the 2.7 kilometre speedway, leaving the racecars in the garage.
Every Wednesday, the track keeps the cars at bay to promote a safe environment for anyone who wants to keep their exercise routine on track.
